Greystone Hurricane Preparation and Community Projects

In the event of a hurricane or severe storm event, be aware that FirstService Residential does have a response action plan in place to address community concerns.  Please click the Hurricane Guide to help each of you prepare your homes and families in the event of severe weather.

Tropical Storm Isaias is now Hurricane Isaias. The current path keeps the storm off our East Coast but as we have seen many times in the past, these projected courses can change very quickly with little or no warning.  Please take all of the necessary precautions to prepare for potential high winds and heavy rain this weekend.  FirstService Residential is monitoring the storm projections and will provide further information regarding the community as needed.

1.  Gates – The Entrance and Exit Gates on Sandstone and Limestone are scheduled to be locked open on Saturday, August 1st.  The equipment will be powered down to help to protect the system from surges or strikes and ensure that the residents are able to safely enter and exit the property.

2.  Parking – Please be extra aware of the parking of vehicles.  Be sure to keep vehicles from blocking the path of Emergency Vehicles if the need occurs.

3.  The Roofing Project – Noland’s Roofing has assured me that all building materials are being secured and that the roofs that they are currently working on will be completed today.  If you experience any emergency issues over the weekend, Noland’s Roofing will respond as they can once the severity of the storm passes.  The roofing project is scheduled to resume on Monday, August 3rd, weather permitting.  The following building is 1301-1311 and then 1291-1281.

4.  Painting – The painting is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 3rd but I will keep you updated on delays due to the weather.

5.  All Florida Pest Control is now scheduled to begin termite treatment using Termador on the outside of the buildings on Monday, August 10th.  I will provide you further information next week.

6.  The Pool Furniture is scheduled to return on Friday, August 7th.  It is being kept in storage during the storm threat. The furniture will be distanced at 50% occupancy per the recommended guidelines.  I will provide further information next week as well.

7.   The Gym is remaining closed at this time.

8.  There is a light post down on Sandstone Run.  We are aware and having this repaired by FPL.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

9.  Brightview will be sending a team to do an evaluation after the storm passes and will be cleaning up any landscaping debris beginning with the entrances and exits of the roadways.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns.  Please call our Customer Care Line at 1-866-378-1099 or in the case of an Emergency, please call 911.
