March 2022

There is a lot of information to share for March, so let’s get started.

Special Assessment

  • The one-time special assessment of $680 to replenish association reserves was approved at the homeowner’s meeting on February 28.
  • Assessment will be due in 2 payments – August 1 and December 1.
  • Current policy for late payments of quarterly dues will apply to late payments for unpaid payments. 
  • Quarterly dues will be reduced to $780 starting March 31.
  • $57.34 will be credited back towards the $837.34 paid in January 2022.

It’s time for a garage sale!

  • The board has approved a one-time garage sale for Saturday, March 26.
  • Gates will be opened for the 8:00 am til 2:00 pm event. 
  •  Signage will be provided. 
  • For those wanting to participate, please stop by the office and see Shannon to register and pick up garage sale guidelines.  

Landscaping

  • Spring is right around the corner and Nature’s Care will be providing a community landscaping event on April 2. 
  • Homeowners will have the opportunity to purchase plants for their property.
  • More details to be provided by Nature’s Care for this event over the upcoming weeks.
  • Once again this year, mulch will be installed this spring.  If you do not want mulching, please contact Shannon.

No parking signage and curb painting

  • To provide clarity for street parking, some of the ‘no parking’ signs have been removed and yellow curbs extended and re-painted. 
  • Changes are complete.

Pool Update

  • Contracts have been approved to repair pool drainage and work is ready to start.
  • To complete the work, the pool will have to be closed approximately March 21 through April 15. 
  • Pool will be open for Seminole County Spring Break March 14th – 18th.

Community Reminder – Stop Signs & Speed Limit

  • A reminder to all residents to come to a complete stop at the stop signs and do not exceed the community speed limit of 25 mph.
  • We want to ensure the safety of all residents especially for the children who are playing and residents who are exercising and walking their pets. 
  • Thanks everyone for helping make Greystone a safe community! 

Drainage Update

  • No update at this time.

Bunko

  • No update on starting Bunko just yet.  Stay tuned. 

Next Board Meeting

  • The next board meeting will be held on March 28, 2022 at 6:30 pm in the Clubhouse.  All homeowners are welcome to attend.
