Greystone Mailbox Kiosk Renovations

We are excited to announce an upcoming renovation project for our community mailboxes. This project aims to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of our mailbox area, providing a more convenient and secure mail service for all residents.

Project Details:

Mailbox Kiosk Renovations:The mailbox renovation is scheduled to start on Monday, May 20th and is expected to be completed by Thursday, May 30th. During this period, both mailbox kiosks will be closed. 

Mail Distribution:   No mail will be delivered to Greystone during the Renovation Period. The last scheduled mail run will be on Saturday, May 18th.

Removal of Mail for Mailbox and Parcels:  Please make sure that your mailbox is completely emptied by Sunday, May 19th. This also includes any packages you may have in a Parcel Locker.   

On Monday, May 20th, USPS will collect any remaining mail and hold it at the Sanford USPS HUB located at the address mentioned in the “Mail Pickup Location”.

Mail Pickup Location: The United States Postal Service (USPS) has designated an alternative mail pickup location for our community during the renovation. Residents can collect their mail from the USPS Sanford HUB located at: 1475 E Airport Blvd, Sanford, FL 32773.Pick up times are as follows:

Tuesday through Friday from 12pm to 4pm (5/21-5/24 & 5/28-5/29)

Saturday from 10am to 12pm (5/25)

*If you are unable to pick up your mail, you may designate someone to pick up your mail for you at the Sanford HUB. In a sealed envelope addressed to the “Postal Master”, you must provide a copy of your State Issued License with the full name of the person you have designated to pick up your mail. This person must present the sealed envelope along with their State Issued License for mail release.

For residences with Tenants or Property Management:

Included in this communication, you will find a “Key Release Authorization Form”. Owners/Property Managers please fill this form out completely and provide the name of the person authorized to pick up the mailbox keys on your behalf.

Mailbox Key Pickup:

All owners and the authorized pickup person will be able to pick up the new Mailbox Keys at the Greystone Clubhouse.

There will be more detailed information for Mailbox Key Pickup as the project progresses. 

*Every household will receive three keys at no cost. Once the keys are picked up for the Greystone Management Office, you will be responsible for the care of said keys. Any damage to keys/lock or loss of keys, you will be responsible for the replacement of the Lock through USPS. The current rate for lock replacement is $35 through USPS. The association will not replace any locks or keys. *
